Now, Let’s move ahead towards on how to migrate entire wordpress website to another server…
First of all, Login to your existing wordpress blog and go to plugins section.
Click on “Add New” and Search for All-in-One WP Migration.
Click on “Install Now” then active plugin.
After activating the plugin, You will find a new section (All In One Wp Migration) at the left sidebar of the wordpress admin area. Click on it.
By default, The plugin exports everything including database files, media, themes and plugin files, Comments, email domains and post revisions history.
But if you don’t want to export everything then click on “Advanced options” and select the option that you don’t want to include in backup files.
Click on “Export To” button and choose your most preferable option.
Note: In the free version, You can only choose export to as a file and other options are for the premium version of the plugin.
Choose “File” as an option.
You will see something like screenshot given below. Now, you are done. Just click on “Download” You will have a backup of the entire website within your PC/Laptop.
If you have taken more than one backups then you can find all backups in the section “backups” of All in one wp migration.
Now, let’s transfer our site to another server. For that, You have to install wordpress and set up a domain name to hosting company’s name servers.
After installing wordpress, Just install All in one Wp migration plugin from above steps.
Click on “Import.”
Click on “Import From” and choose “File” as an option.
Note: If you have backup file size more than 512 MB then you have to do some modification In plugin’s file and that I will show you in just a few minutes.
Choose a backup file from PC/Laptop and give a permission to import and the process will start to import all files.
After few minutes, The import process will be finished and You have to log in to Wp admin area one time for completing entire process.
Now you are done
How to increase file size limit?
#1: First go to Plugins > Editor > Choose “ All in One Wp Migration” > Constants.php
#2: Search for “Size” and You will see “Max File Size”. This size is defined in bytes. Hence, If you want to increase to 4 Gb then simply multiply that number to 4.
Or Simply write “ * 8” to that number. Refer below screenshot and do same as shown in the image.
#3: Now go to import section and you will see “Maximum Upload File Size: 4GB.”
